Character Information

Known History
Eddie met up with the rest of the all-Kindred band Illusions of Grandeur during their stop in his home domain of Trenton, New Jersey. When they left town, he joined them as they traveled to Iowa to meet up with JR Lake, the sire of lead singer Cricket Marriot. The band decided to settle in Cedar Rapids for a time, in order to record an album and plan their next tour. Their album, Anarcadia, was released on a small-scale to solid reviews.

During their stay in Iowa, Illusions of Grandeur was rocked with internal divisions related to the local political landscape, and lead guitarist Saffron Colocott was murdered by Zio! of Clan Brujah. The band split up soon after, with the Brujah members leaving the area. Eddie remained, deciding to finally put his MBA to use by starting Lincoln Industries, a body armor manufacturer.

Over the next couple of years, Eddie joined another all-Kindred band, Epic Love Riot. Consisting of Eddie Lincoln (Lead Guitar, Vocals), Cricket Mariott (Lead Vocals, Keyboard), Lucas Nevermore (Bass), and the drummer known only as Isaiah. Their self-titled debut album achieved modest success, but the band hasn't performed in several years and is presumed to be defunct. Eddie has expressed interest in other musical endeavors, but has yet to find the right group.

In mortal circles, Eddie has achieved some fame due to his indie rock career. Lincoln Industries, his body armor company, has also been gaining popularity among Law Enforcment Agencies in the Midwest and private consumers.

Quotes
"Let's be serious here Chet, you didn't want a Childe, you wanted a Princess you could lock up in a tower. And last I checked, little birds didn't fly into my haven and braid my fucking hair for me." Lena!'s comments to Chester Black a few months after she left his accounting.

"...Besides, they (Meaning Team Fail) didn't come here for me, they came here for you." - Ted Freeman's last words before he gave his life saving Lena!'s in Twin Cities.

"My earlier question having been answered, I would remind kindred that animals are more dangerous when they are wounded." -Augustine St. Just

"Justicar Streck blinded her...but not with science...I'm guessing with a pencil." -Murray

"I was just a child standing in the desert with a butterfly net and he was the oncoming storm. Nobody can harness a tempest, I understand that now." - Lena

"We always shared that void, the burden of dead loved ones. I always thought you were better than that, stronger than me. Don't look back, keep your eyes on the horizon. I will be with the ghosts, we have nothing for you... Death is unavoidable, life must be fought for." - Part of Pinky Wheeler's last letter to Lena

"I won't say his name, saying it means he'll be remembered. He told me once I'd die alone and forgotten, but I'm still alive and he isn't. So there's that." - Lena

"I need to see a man about a horse." - Lena

"I think I prefer you like this." - Justicar Petronius
"Out of the dress and corset and in something more comfortable?" - Lena
"No no, your demeanor. I have no interest in you being somebody else. We want you for who you are." - Justicar Petronius

"Inspiration is the Death of Stagnation." - Lena

Rumors
*Her eyes change color when she's about to frenzy
*Helped her sire kill a Balrog.
*Was one of the people involved in the praxis seizure against former Prince John Ragner
*Buried Zio!'s hatchet into Jaroslav Pascek's desk.
*Was sent from the future to keep the Camarilla domains in Iowa from falling to the Sabbat.
*Has been investigated by several Archons to multiple Justicars due to her behavioral issues.
**This lead to a secret conclave in 2013
*Her haven was destroyed by unknown assailants shortly after her conclave.
*Has received numerous death threats since her conclave.
**But has also had several allies come out of the woodwork to protect her.
*Her status was definitely affected cause she kept it up like a lovesick crackhead.
*Her former domain, Cedar Rapids, IA, has fallen into complete disarray and is now in the hands of the Anarchs.
**Many believe this is a result of her no longer leading the domain.
***It's a sore topic.
*Formerly an Archon to Justicar Petronius and spent eight years in Rome.
*Gained and lost Hospitality in the Domain of Cincinnati, OH within five minutes.
*As likely to be seen around Assamites as she is around her own clan. Both clans have grown particularly protective of her.
*Is a working for some Justicarial office.
**but which one?
*She clearly doesn't learn and seems to be entangling herself in yet another love affair, this time with a certain Assamite Harpy.
*No one knows what a "Facilitator" is, but it's evocative. She probably just made it up to sound important.
*Several Members of her clan seem to look to her as some kind of mother-figure. This is a wild divergence to the hot mess she was before she went to Rome.
**You mean when she pissed off the Malkavians?
***Bruh, who even remembers that?
****Malks have long memories, friend.
*Birthed a new Brujah Bloodline into existence by dying and coming back to life. This is a Bloodline where Brujah have access to magic.
**This bloodline gets its roots from Dracian, an ancient Ravnos who has mastery over illusion and reality.
**"Nah. I HEARD some Tremere says this magic is infernal, Brujah getting magic out of nowhere? Sounds like infernal nonsense!
***No! She created the bloodline to try to bring Paul Walker back to life. It didn't work, but that's why it happened.
****Well, I heard that she's not even a Brujah herself, anymore.
*****"That's just another attention grab, I guarantee it. Kidnapping stopped working, so..."
*Keeps getting kidnapped for attention.

Known History
Mac has made no secret of his service during World War II. As a paratrooper with the 101st Airborne Division, he participated in D-Day, Operation Market-Garden, and The Battle of the Bulge. After the war, he took advantage of the new GI Bill to go to college to study psychology.

After his Embrace, records of McDonald's activities become scarce. Some rumors place him in a coterie hunting members of the Tremere Anti-Tribu, while others have him working Masquerade clean-up 'out East'. Regardless of the truth, by 1984 he'd dropped off the radar completely and didn't resurface until March of 2007 in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Under the upstart regime of the Ravnos Tarnal Purhi-Dae, Mac volunteered as Sheriff. While Tarnal's Praxis ended in abdication in the face of Justicarial investigation, Mac remained Sheriff under the Brujah Henry Lynch, until he was promoted to Seneschal in September of 2007.

This lasted until January of the next year, when Henry Lynch was killed by lupines. In the wake of his death, McDonald claimed Praxis of Black Hawk County. In November 2009, he relinquished his Praxis to Rafello Martino of Clan Ventrue, and resumed the position of Sheriff which he has retained under subsequent Princes.

In December of 2014, McDonald was named an Archon to the Malkavian Justicar, Maris Streck.

In the mortal world, Mac has achieved some fame as a forensic psychologist, consulting with the Waterloo & Cedar Falls Police Departments, as well as the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation and the FBI. He recently published a book about what he describes as 'Apex Predator' serial killers: killers who prey exclusively on other serial and spree killers. The book provides numerous case studies and documentation that supports his hypothesis, but those who are aware of the Masquerade can read between the lines to determine that many of the cases he describes are supernatural creatures who are killed by other supernatural creatures before they cause a problem with the Masquerade.

Character Information

Many kindred see Fifi! as a member of Clan Brujah. Some believe her to be Caitiff due to various "human" traits that she's rumored to possess.

Fifi! is known for her closeness to her humanity and is seen as a moral compass within Kindred society. She prefers to wait until a Kindred approaches her before helping them protect and maintain their Humanity. Those from the outside who assume that humane and spiritual equal "pure" find out quickly that they are wrong. Fifi! comfortably speaks about what she has learned when it comes to "legally questionable" pleasures of the flesh. She is also not afraid of showing that she has a dark sense of humor and a fascination with death and the dying. Some wonder whether this is due to the influence of the men in her life, or if she is more monstrous than she appears.

She was raised as a Catholic in her mortal life, and adheres to most of their tenets and rituals. However, at the recommendation of a fellow Soothsayer at the 2010 Midwinter's gather, Fiona has started to research other deities to revere in addition to the (young) Judeo-Christian god. She has since developed an interest in the Greek and Egyptian myths.

Her humanitarian efforts focus on aiding the outcasts of society: needle exchanges for drug users, wet houses for homeless alcoholics, and health care and protective services for sex workers. There are rumors that she is also getting involved in the drug and sex trade markets, thereby creating a growing group of hedonists and those who would later need her "salvation".

Among the mortal populace, she is known as a skilled Cosmetologist and for helping to organize unorthodox social work like needle exchanges and health care services for sex workers (OOC: Fame x 3: Iowa)... though that seems to be changing...

Known History
Few are around that remember Fifi's early years from when she was in Florida. During that time she and her Sire, Zio!, were close. Something caused her to abruptly leave. No one knows whether she left because her Sire was slipping in his Humanity, or whether his decline was because of her leaving.

During the following year (still early 2000's), she made a pilgrimage to Jerusalem - this was back when it was a "ghost town" for Kindred. No one knows why she traveled there, what she saw, or where she went afterwords. With the exception of an occasional sighting here or there, she fell off contact with Kindred society for several years.

In September 2008, Fifi! appeared in the domain of Cedar Falls, Iowa. Despite appearing overly flamboyant, she was mild-tempered, quiet, and humane to the point where it showed in her physical appearance. When asked on her motives for moving to Iowa, she spoke of seeing a vision regarding her Sire, and feeling a calling that she needed to help him.

Months after the St. Paul - Minneapolis conclave (early 2009), Fifi! moved to the Twin Cities in order to be closer to her Sire and to experience "big city" life.

She was Lesser Harpy to Alex Randall of Clan Malkavian. After a few months, Alex stood up to the Prince at that time, Chester Black, and stripped him of several measures of standing due to various scandals. After Alex was banished, the Primogen asked Fifi! (though still inexperienced) to become the next Harpy. Her removal as Harpy was due to rumors regarding her own views on the downfall of Chester Black (that he was 'set up' in the end).

After that debacle, she served as Assistant Keeper for Horace Mansfield-Rhumer, as well as Whip for her clan under numerous Primogen. Her disdain towards clan and sect politics has faded as a reaction to the deaths of her teacher and ally, Cadence Porter, and Anthony Black. She originally accepted the role of Primogen when there were no viable options remaining. After a few months, she appeared to fully take on the role, and worked both within her city and outside of it in order to build political alliances.

In the beginning of May 2011, she stepped down from Primogen and left the Twin Cities to return to Cedar Falls. In the year that followed, she lost many who were close to her. Zio!, her Sire, was killed by a Sabbat infiltrator. Her dear friend Matthias Blackstone died in a failed praxis seizure. Noctis, her former coterie-mate, confidante, and ally, was murdered shortly after they spoke with each other at the Midwinter gather in 2012. She walked away from her obligations and from the social spotlight for several months, finally re-emerging from her grief in autumn 2012. That October, Prince Murray conscripted her to serve as Primogen and to represent the Caitiff and "non-founding" clans.

She lost her beloved and ally, Aleister Blackwell, in early December 2012. After losing so many - friends, paramours, her Sire, and what could have been true love - some questioned whether she would recover from her grief. Others wondered if she would stand on her own. Others still knew the truth about her strength, and wondered if retribution would come from her own hand, or from those watching her from the shadows.

Several seemingly random yet important kindred know who she is and watch out for her. Ask her why they look out for her and she'll give you a blank, confused look in return. Maybe she's not fond of name-dropping.

At public gathers, Fifi! is typically seen associating with Malkavians (especially the very "enlightened" ones) or Tremere.

Alias(es): None

Real Name: Kolev

Apparent Age: 17, though he could easily pass for the 15-16 range with his smallish stature

Concept: Modern teen Rom

Physical description: Kolev stands at an even 5'3" tall, with a lithe, slender build that suggests some amount of flexibility. Looking at him, he has the body and build of a dancer, or maybe a professional thief. His bright violet hair falls to his shoulders in messy locks, a result of his constantly running his hands through it. Tanned skin resembling a lighter copper color creates a perfect backdrop to the big, baby blue eyes that most often hold suspicion and mistrust within their clever, delicate depths. With a pretty, androgynous face, Kolev is very often mistaken for a girl, especially when he wears baggy clothing.
Kolev dresses most often in loose enough clothing to allow movement, but close fitting enough that he cannot easily snag them on things. Usually, he wears jeans that have long since had the knees torn out, a T-shirt, and often a long-sleeved blue button up shirt over it. His clothes, like himself, are often covered lightly in dirt and grime. More recently, he has taken to wearing a nice suit when he goes to Camarilla gatherings. He almost always wears sandals; very rarely will anyone see him wear anything closed-toed on his feet.
He wears a lot of jewelry, but much of it changes. The things that stay the same are as follows: a black ribbon choker fastened with a button, several small golden hoop earrings along the outsides of his ears (one larger golden hoop at the lobe of his left ear), and a few rings. Of the rest, he wears a few other necklaces and several bracelets. He has several that are reminders, and several that are gifts.

*Keeps getting kidnapped for attention.

Tanis has only spoken of her time before coming to Iowa vaguely:
As a mortal, she worked in the Metropolitan Museum of Art as a translator of ancient texts, and was Embraced when on a trip to Canada where she discovered her interest in psychology. After her Embrace, she learned that she could not return to New York due to Sabbat. She has alluded to traveling to many domains since then, and that she went from being an Independent to joining the Camarilla. The exact details, however, have yet to be shared.

Tanis is a very attractive woman with a kind smile. Her dark complexion leads some to wonder if she is of Egyptian heritage as many in her clan, but the trained eye can tell that it isn't very likely. She stands roughly 5'6" and has a strong, fit build. Often her long brown hair is worn down, framing her face. Sometimes she wears her sunglasses on her head, showing her warm, knowing hazel eyes.

Known History
Tanis has only spoken of her time before coming to Iowa vaguely:
As a mortal, she worked in the Metropolitan Museum of Art as a translator of ancient texts, and was Embraced when on a trip to Canada where she discovered her interest in psychology. After her Embrace, she learned that she could not return to New York due to Sabbat. She has alluded to traveling to many domains since then, and that she went from being an Independent to joining the Camarilla. The exact details, however, have yet to be shared.

After her Embrace, she learned that she could never return to New York due to Sabbat. She has alluded to traveling to many domains since then, and that she went from being an Independent to joining the Camarilla. The exact details, however, have yet to be shared.

Known History
Tanis has only spoken of her time before coming to Iowa vaguely:
As a mortal, she worked in the Metropolitan Museum of Art as a translator of ancient texts, and was Embraced when on a trip to Canada where she discovered her interest in psychology. After her Embrace, she learned that she could never return to New York due to Sabbat. She has alluded to traveling to many domains since then, and that she went from being an Independent to joining the Camarilla. The exact details, however, have yet to be shared.

Physical description:
Tanis is a very attractive woman with a kind smile and knowing hazel eyes. Her dark complexion leads some to wonder if she is of Egyptian heritage as many in her clan, but the trained eye can tell that it's only very slight. She stands roughly 5'6" and has a strong, fit build. Often her long brown hair is worn down, framing her face. Sometimes she wears her sunglasses on her head, but more often wears them indoors when at Gather.
